We’re a global network of artists, writers, curators, film directors, photographers and creatives who share a passion for celebrating artists and artworks that we believe are important to the world. This is our platform to share that with you.

Artmother was founded by Michael Polsinelli, a curator and media director who has produced award-winning projects with the world’s highest-level artistic talent, developing media collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé, John Baldessari, Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami.

Before setting up artmother, Michael was special projects director at Vice Media and earlier ran the global art and fashion biannual, Garage Magazine. Prior to that he was editor of the contemporary art magazine Flash Art in Milan.

Michael has worked across the globe with artists and designers to develop new work in digital, print, AR and VR, with projects spanning Europe, the US, UAE and China. In 2014, he initiated Jeff Koons’ first virtual sculpture. His career began at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, creating artist books, following study at the Royal College of Art and art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
